Getting your car ready for winter.

If you live in an area where it gets really cold during the winter then you know the cold temperatures and snow can be a real pain. Here are some easy things you can do to make driving in the winter time easier for you and your cars engine.

1. Tires Having proper tires when driving in snowy areas makes a huge difference. If you feel yourself sliding around easily in the snow and you have all season or even summer tires, consider switching to dedicated winter tires. 2. Brakes

   Stopping your car in snowy conditions can be scary sometimes. Checking your brakes before the snow starts coming in is an easy way to help ensure you can stop in time. You can do this by taking off your wheel and looking at your brake pads to see how much material you have left. While your there you can check the health of the rotors as well as the ABS lines. If anything looks out of the ordinary or very worn, get them replaced.
